30TH JUNE: ENTEBBE - KAMPALA (47 KMS)
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Crystal Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. After a short transfer to your hotel (30-45min drive) you will be briefed about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival e.g. if your flight arrives in the morning, you are advised to have money changed this day. To get to know Kampala, you can visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide. Overnight at Speak Resort Munyonyo. BB
1ST JULY: KAMPALA- QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK (417 KMS)
Depart Kampala in the morning after breakfast and go through Uganda's beautiful green countryside. Watch out for the Equator en-route where you will be able to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time. Have a stop over for lunch in Mbarara before continuing to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight at Jacana Safari Lodge. FB
JULY: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Today we have an early morning game drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a home of abundant wildlife with grassy plains, and volcanic craters. You will have an excellent opportunity to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck.
Afternoon enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. This launch/cruise offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species. 3RD JUL: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK- BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK (150 KMS)
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest by driving through the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ area known as Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads. Pass through Ishasha sector where you will have an opportunity to see the tree climbing lions or take the alternative route through the cultivated area. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge. FB
4TH JUL: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Early morning entry into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest the rainforest is spectacular, it offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animals’ trails allowing access to tourists. Mammals recorded include the endangered Mt. Gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black-fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and others. This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of the marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact.
Those who will not be doing gorilla trekking go for Golden Monkey trekking. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge FB.
5TH JUL: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK – LAKE BUNYONYI
After a stranious gorilla trekking the previous day transfer to L. Bunyonyi where you can relax at the lake and enjoy the breath taking scenerary. Other activities include canoeing. Overnight at Heritage Lodge
6TH JUL: LAKE BUNYONYI – ENTEBBE
Transfer to Entebbe Airport to catch your flight back home.

- All personal expenditure such as tips, telephone calls, laundry and drinks.
- For single rooms, a supplement needs to be paid
Please note that Gorilla viewing is subject to availability of permits, which are limited and each costs $500 therefore any gorilla permits required should be purchased at the time of booking. However it’s recommended that you book your permits while in advance starting from 2 years, one year or at least 6 months to ensure that you get the permits on your desired dates. Gorilla viewing can be done in both Bwindi in Uganda and Parc National des Volcans (PNV) in Rwanda.
Clients will be using 4WD Vehicle including Land cruisers and Minibuses with open roof/hatches and enough leg room as well as guaranteed window seats.
All clients will be escorted by our experienced Guides/Drivers who are able to provide a cheerful, caring and attentive service to our clients. All our guides are trained and have deep knowledge of all routes, conditions, local attraction and their ability to spot animals and birds is outstanding. |
