Crystal Safaris Ltd is a fully registered company in Uganda and we are members of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO), American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), Africa Travel Association (ATA) and African Bird Club (ABC).  We work hand in hand with Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and the Uganda Tourist Board (UTB) in order to provide quality services.

Our main tourist activities include among others the famous Birding, Gorilla safaris, chimpanzee tracking and habituation, Wildlife and Scenery safaris, mountain climbing including the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon, Mt. Elgon and Mt. Kilimanjaro, white water rafting on the River Nile, boat excursions, fishing safaris, Cultural Tours, nature walks and much more.  We provide the above services to private individuals, groups, families and business executives.

It is our policy to meet each and every client arriving in East Africa. Our staff is always available to facilitate all clients’ arrival and departure needs and to ensure that all onward flight reservations are reconfirmed.

Prior to commencement of your safari a representative from Crystal Safaris will brief you about local customs, currency and general advice regarding your safari itinerary.  Our staff is always available to assist you with any other additional requirements you may have or simply to give advice on shopping or eating out.  A 24 hour emergency contact with all our clients is always available.

Our safari vehicles consist of custom built and specially modified 7-seat safari minibuses and 4WD safari Land Cruisers. All our vehicles have sliding windows, roof hatches to optimize all round visibility for game viewing and photography.  For maximum comfort and enjoyment of the safari, it is recommended that all our clients be offered a window seat, which means a maximum of 7 passengers per vehicle.
The company also manages a fleet of a wide range of vehicles for hire e.g. private saloon cars, 4x4 land cruisers, pickups and buses. It is our policy to maintain high standard of vehicle maintenance and service delivery for all transport services at all times.

The success of any safari greatly depends upon the character of the Guide/Driver.  We therefore take great care in selecting our Guides/Drivers who are able to provide a cheerful, caring and attentive service to our clients.  All our guides are trained and have deep knowledge of all routes, conditions, local attraction and their ability to spot animals and birds is outstanding.
