DAY 1 : LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Arrival - special meet and greet at the Kilimanjaro International Airport by our representative. You will be

transferred to Arusha town for lunch the drive to Lake Manyara National park.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this small but attractive park.

The famous tree-climbing Lions are but one lure of Lake Manyara. The other attractions of the area around this Tanzania lodge are Elephant, Monkey, Antelope, Crocodile and Hippopotamus. Masses of pink Flamingos and majestic birds of prey, along with other abundant birdlife, make Lake Manyara world renowned among ornithologists.

DAY 2 : CENTRAL SERENGETI

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast then depart for the Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge where hominid footprints believed to be 3.6million years old were found.

Arrive at your lodge for lunch.

Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. Covering an area of 14,763 square kilometres, the world famous Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's oldest park, and one of the world's last great wildlife refuges. It stretches as far as Lake Victoria to the West. Its name comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning 'endless plains'. The park's vegetation ranges from the short and long grass plains in the south, to the acacia savannah in the centre and wooded grasslands concentrated around the tributaries of the Grumeti and the Mara rivers in the park.

DAY 3 : CENTRAL SERENGETI


Enjoy a full day in the Serengeti with game-viewing drives. Hundreds of predators roam the vast savannah plains.

In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. It is the sanctuary of an estimated four million different animals and birds.

DAY 4 : NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast proceed towards the rim of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater stopping occasionally to admire the breath-taking vista unfolding before you.

Arrive for check in, thereafter lunch at your lodge.

This afternoon just relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. It has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world.


DAY 5 : NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast descend some 600 metres into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game-viewing drive with picnic lunch at a private scenic site. Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhino, giraffes, golden & black-backed jackal, zebra, cheetah, leopard and the spotted hyena. Unmatched for its natural variety & breath-taking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also of great archaeological importance, with the remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors discovered in the area, also a home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor.

DAY 6 : ENTEBBE

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Uganda.

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Your will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide, visit the shopping Malls around town and craft villages to get items which you may need while in upcountry. You may visit the Botanical gardens at a supplement of $10 per person or visit the Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre at a supplement of $15 per person or a cheese and wine sundowner on Lake Victoria at a supplement of $85 per person

DAY 7 : BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

Early morning after breakfast, your guide will brief you about the journey and later transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is Located in southwestern Uganda, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rainforest. It is world-renowned for its excellent gorilla-sighting opportunities. The rugged landscape features dense jungle, cascading waterfalls, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys and steep ridges. This untouched forest has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its breathtaking natural beauty and unique ecological significance. Aside from the amazing gorilla interactions, there are other drawcards such as a network of forest walks, over 340 species of bird to spot and a variety of butterflies. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the spectacular Virunga Volcanoes.

Alternatively, you may opt to fly to Bwindi via Kisoro Airstrip at a supplement of $353 per person for one way, the return flight is $550 per person .

You will stop for lunch at the equator for lunch and you will be able to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time. You will be able to take some photos while at the equator.You will arrive at the lodge in time for dinner

DAY 8 : BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST


After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure, after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins.

Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. One of Africa’s major highlights is when you encounter these amazing apes. It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young ones.

Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest, and discover their gorgeous natural habitual and the many species they share it with. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge. If your trek was relatively short, you may opt for optional activities.

Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, plenty of water, gloves, hat, and water proof bag for protection of your camera in case of rain

You may opt for Gorilla Habituation on supplement of $800 per person – here you will be sure of meeting and spending enough time with the Gorillas.

DAY 9 : END OF ITINERARY


After breakfast , you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight to your next destination with a stopover for lunch enroute .

Alternatively you may opt to fly to Entebbe Airport at a supplement of $353 per person.
